CARE Project | Addressing Climate Change through Regenerative Agriculture, Water Resources Conservation and Financial Education in Lebanon

Fondazione Microfinanza e Comunità (FMC) is taking part in the CARE project, funded by AICS and implemented in partnership with Italian and Lebanese organizations, with interventions in the Beqaa Governorate (West Beqaa and Zahle) and the Mount Lebanon Governorate (Shouf and Aley). The project aims to strengthen environmental and social resilience in target areas by promoting sustainable agricultural practices and actions to protect biodiversity and natural resources.

Within CARE, FMC is delivering a dedicated component on financial inclusion and financial education for farmers, producers and small agri-food businesses, integrating topics related to access to finance, productivity and business savings with a focus on environmental sustainability and ESG principles.

Activities include data collection and needs assessment, training modules, and tailored coaching and technical assistance to support autonomy, climate adaptation and the economic sustainability of local enterprises.

Terms of Reference (ToRs)
To support the implementation of project activities, FMC is publishing the following Terms of Reference (ToRs) for three consultancy profiles:

  1. Rural Enterprise Support Expert,
  2. Financial Education Training Expert, and
  3. Coaching and Assistance Expert.

The ToRs outline the scope of work, required expertise, expected deliverables and timeline for each assignment. Interested candidates and service providers are invited to review the documents below and submit their applications according to the procedures and deadlines indicated.
